LUCKY PEOPLE

DOCUMENTARY

2014-2019

I've been trapped in a Freaks tent since I was born. I suffer from "not fitting in" syndrome. This explains why I needed to create a parallel world to live in, because there are too many Freaks and not enough circuses!

"So many freaks and not enough circuses" is a collection of images captured through the lens of one of the clowns and co-founder of the company Maria Solà and the house photographer Karina Tengberg. They have followed the escapades of the circus with their cameras. The project documents the last five years of this curious group that had the desire to create a timeless oasis where craftsmanship was above fast technology, traveling at 60 km/h through Europe with old trucks loaded up to eyebrows with scenography. Because "nothing is impossible when you work in the circus".
